Satyen V. Kothari, CEO & Co-Founder
Satyen directs overall strategy and operations
at Trapezo. He has been inventing, utilizing and adapting technology
to enable and empower people since before the Internet was a household
word, and has been passionate about technology since his first Sinclair
Spectrum in the 8th grade. Prior to co-founding Trapezo, he led Internet
and software strategy teams for frogdesign with clients such as SAP,
More.com, LATimes, 3Com and others. In addition, he has helped develop
product strategy at Apple Computers and Silicon Graphics' Alias|Wavefront
software division.
Upon graduating from the University of Bombay, Satyen won a scholarship
granted to two Computer Science graduates across India to attend Stanford
University where he earned his Masters degree. At Stanford, Satyen
focused on utilizing technology to solve business workflow and automation
related problems as part of this self designed curriculum, he studied
and researched different aspects of technology entrepreneurship, human-computer
interactions, computer science, psychology, design and communications. |

Thor Muller, EVP & Co-Founder
Thor is responsible for driving new category development and business opportunities, as
well as special marketing initiatives. Prior to co-founding Trapezo, Thor founded Prophet, a first-generation Internet development agency. In less than two years, Thor led Prophet to become a multi-million dollar company before selling it to frogdesign. After the sale Thor joined frogdesign where he served as vice president of digital media. His accomplishments included building a profitable Internet development division and creating successful Internet strategies for clients such as CommerceOne, Bank of America, More.com, Intel, Sony and the Los Angeles Times.
Prior to founding Prophet, Thor was managing director of Argonaut Press, where he managed day-to-day operations, overseeing the editorial team, publication design, marketing department and distribution channels. Thor graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in 1993. |

Stuart Illian, VP Strategic Alliances
Stuart is responsible for the overall management and direction of Trapezo's strategic alliances group the group is chartered with expanding existing sales channels and entry into new markets. With over 16 years of collective experience in high tech and other industries, Stuart is able to leverage his extensive background in both the Internet and traditional businesses. He has held numerous management positions in sales, alliances, business development, marketing and finance with companies such as NBCi, Apple Computer, Deloitte Touche and Lockheed Martin.
Recently, Stuart was VP of E-Commerce Business Development and one of the original XOOM.com employees, now known as NBC Internet. Prior to joining Trapezo, Stuart was VP of Strategic Alliances for RedCart Technologies. Stuart holds a degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University and is proud to have obtained his commercial pilot's license at the age of 20. |

David Pava, Senior Director of Sales David comes to Trapezo with over 20 years of high technology start-up experience in sales and marketing. Previously, he was VP of Sales and Marketing for ECbridges, an eCommerce software company, VP of worldwide Sales at MarCole Enterprises, Inc. an IBM, NCR, and Sun software business partner, Director of Sales at Aircraft Technical Publishers and President of Byte Industries, Inc. David's accomplishments include several consecutive years of record-breaking sales in his previous positions.
David holds an MBA in Marketing from St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA and a BA in Industrial Design from California State University, San Francisco. He teaches business information technology and marketing part-time for the University of Phoenix at their Bay Area campuses. |

Loren Berthelsen, Senior Director of Customer Experience Loren has worked for over 15 years in the customer service industry where he developed a deeply held belief that truly successful companies religiously exceed customer expectations. Loren spent the last 6 years working in the ERP and EAI market, most recently as Director of Customer Support for New Era of Networks, Inc. (NEON). He has spent many days in the "road warrior" trenches providing consulting and education services to a diverse selection of companies including: Credit Suisse First Boston, Revlon, J.B. Hunt and Universal Studios.
Since joining Trapezo, Loren has evolved into an unabashed Internet advocate. Loren completed a BA in Business degree with honors from Saint Mary's College. |

Nancy Alonzo, Director of Marketing Nancy brings over 10 years of varied marketing experience to Trapezo from the publishing and Internet industries. She spent 5 years at Inc. magazine in various sales, marketing and event development capacities. Following that, she was part of the early team that launched Fast Company magazine and, as their Director of Strategic Programs, helped to successfully grow and expand the Fast Company brand into live events and custom publishing.
Most recently, Nancy held the position of Senior Director of Content at SmartAge, an Internet company that focuses exclusively on helping small business succeed on the Web. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1991 with a BA in English. |

Jonathan Clay, Director of Product Management Jonathan brings 19 years of product development experience to Trapezo from a variety of high tech companies. Most recently he was responsible for all web development at Tavolo.com a gourmet food and kitchenware site. Prior to that, Jonathan lead a team at Brightware using Artificial Intelligence software to create Internet agents using Natural Language technology to provide intelligent web and email based customer service.
Preceding Brightware he worked at a number of companies building CRM and financial products for large financial institutions around the world. Jonathan is a graduate of Cambridge University with an MA and BA in computer science. |
